Help Desk Analyst / Jr. System Administrator

Since 2000, continued growth has hastened our need for help desk analysts / junior system administrators. This IT support position is based in Oakland, California, and is ideal for people who are eager to get started in their system administration career and ready to be challenged by real world applications. As part of our service team you will field IT support calls and resolve email support requests in a timely manner. Two years from now, you will look back and discover you have taken your help desk analyst / junior system administrator skills and success to the next level.

Required IT Support Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of help desk analyst / junior system administrator experience.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. 
  • Exceptional communication skills. 
  • Current Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Backup Technologies (VEEAM, Crashplan, etc.)
  • Anti-Virus Technologies (AV Defender, etc.)
  • Software Deployment Technologies (ghost, repackaging tools).
  • Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting).
  • Remote Access Technologies (VPN, dial-up, terminal services).
  • Current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Desired IT Support Experience and Qualifications

  • 4 year Bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant certifications (MCP, CCNA, etc.)
  • Experience in customer service.
